Café

We serve up classic comfort with a fresh twist. From barista-made coffees and teas to cakes and fresh baking from our oven. Our menu changes with the chef’s inspiration, but you’ll always find favourites like scones, toasted sandwiches, loaded wedges, chips, and hearty pies.

Accommodation

Enjoy a comfortable and rejuvenating stay. We have four en-suite units available. All units have a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. To get you started in the morning, we provide a full continental breakfast and will prepare a pack lunch if requested. Enjoy a good old-fashioned style dinner in the evening with us. BYO alcohol. Gluten free and vegan options available - please let us know your dietary requirements.

Travel Directions

By bike: Follow the orange West Coast Wilderness Trail signs.

By car: From Hokitika it's about a 30 minute drive. 

From SH6 follow the signs to Lake Kaniere. At Lake Kaniere turn left onto Hans Bay Road, after 1km turn left onto Milltown Road (Note: don't drive as far as Hans Bay!). Follow Milltown Road for about 11km to reach the destination. We are at the end of the road with clear signs.
